I'm in Police Technology and I made this glossary that contains words related to this field. It will help police officers and future police officers who do not know what some specific words mean in English. There are 20 words and all we need to know about thees are mentioned. I made it with the Virtual Writing Tutor and I found the words in the book "Actively Engaged Online" at pages 309 to 314.

- noun
- A person or group of people who are charged with or on trial for a crime.
- Example: The accused was ordered to stand a trial on a number of charges.

- Seize (someone) by legal authority and take into custody.
- Example: The police arrested him for possession of marijuana.

- bulletproof vest
- noun
- A vest capable of resisting the impact of a bullet.
- Example: The police officer put his bulletproof vest to protect himself.

- clue
- noun
- A piece of evidence or information used in the detection of a crime or solving of a mystery.
- Example: Police officers are still searching for clues.

- A tribunal presided over by a judge, judges, or a magistrate in civil and criminal cases.

- A power that police office have that allows them to remain silence.
- Example: They exercised their discretionary power for a purposes other than the one they were granted.

- A medicine or other substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body.
- Example: He was arrested with 5 kilograms of drug.

- Example: Three hostages were released but only after their families paid an estimated $200,000 to the guerrillas.

- A place for the confinement of people accused or convicted of a crime.

- A person who kills.

- A statement by an alleged offender that they have committed the offence with which they are charged.
- Example: He chooses the plea of guilty of the crime he was accused of.

- A system for detecting the presence, direction, distance, and speed of aircraft, ships, and other objects, by sending out pulses of high-frequency electromagnetic waves that are reflected off the object back to the source.

- The action of taking property unlawfully from a person or place by force or threat of force.
- Example: He was involved in drugs, extortion, and robbery.
